My name is Laura (they/she), (name pronunciation).

I am a Mad, Loca DiaspoRican-Cuban Femme. I name those identities first to honor dominant lineages that continue to shape me. I am a multi-passionate artist, poet, psy survivor, scholar-educator, eternal student, and librarian-in-training.

I am soothed by writing & researching, sticker collages, roaming libraries & used bookstores, coloring books, arts & crafts, witnessing gardens & forests, designing jewelry, junk journaling, solo hiking, and resting deeply.

I love learning, and my interests eternally evolve. I am also a softie who appreciates writing in my bedspace, a practice modeled to me by many visionary crip doulas. 🛏️
